I don't really have a vision board yet. But I believe that envisioning what you want works. I have seen it happen too many times in my life. Once when I was looking for a vehicle recently, the exact truck I wanted to buy came to me at a great price. It was the exact thing I carried in my mind for quite sometime. I had even tried to buy a different one that was used and the universe would not allow it. The guy decided he wasn't going to sell it after all. I was truly amazed when I got the color interior and exterior I wanted and 4 doors, to make it more convenient for my dogs mainly.
I have also seen it work negatively against me when I envisioned things that were not so great, and they also happened.
Now I hope to try some hocus pocus on paper and see what happens. I wonder if as husband and wife if we need separate boards or a shared vision board. What do ya'll think?

Two of my visions were "declared" 3-4 years ago: I wanted to build my business, in part, by creating a community of readers - wrote an article describing that one, and, I wanted to be part of a company that would also be welcoming for Alex, my now 23 year old son. That vision became a reality when I joined my present company last July.

Last evening at Laughmasters Toastmasters I gave the educational moment and did the table topics...on Vision Boards. It was wonderful to be able to share my Vision Board with the other Toastmasters and then explain to them how easy it is to create one. The interest level was very high, and I believe I met my goal of inspiring some to create their own VB. Everyone loved my VB, and I was so pleased to be able to share it with my Club.

Hi everyone, My vision board was made by my husband for me on Mother's Day. He took a regular cork board and added plexy glass around it where I can insert pictures! That's where I put pictures of my family, My BIGGEST why! Then all my goals and affirmations are posted on the inside. I LOVE it!

I like to really enjoy myself while I am out in public and kind of anonymous right now. I do this, because I know when my book becomes a best seller and I'm all over the talk shows, I'm going to be constantly stopped and asked for my autograph and always being photographed. I mean, now I can go out to lunch with one of my girlfriends and no big deal, but in a few months, when we're in Chicago lunching with Oprah, well, it'll be a lot different then. Should I hire one body guard or two? Just wondering. :) Cheers to everyone's success. "Remember you already have it, you are just waiting for it to hatch". Hillary Jollimore

Hey Gang,

Way back in 2000 I had the pleasure to speak at a company convention to over 4000 people (my very first speaking experience, what an experience that was!) and the talk was on

VISIONS! I'll see if I can dig up that talk online in my old files. It was also put on audio.

The visions I spoke about have come true today!

Our plans though last year changed when we decided to give our younger son the opportunity to play tennis here in Austin so we uprooted and moved him and myself to Austin leaving my husband behind to sell our home down near the coast.

So now we have some new dreams and visions!

I'm looking forward to sharing and hearing about all your dreams coming true!

Never ever give up on your dreams!

One of my vision boards is one of those photo fabric boards with ribbon criss crossed over it. I have colored index cards with a particular goal written out in words. All those to be achieved are on one side of the board. When a goal is acheived my daughter and I put a cute little smiley face sticker with a graduation cap on the index card and move it to the other side of the board. That way we don't forget how many wonderful goals we are achieving. And those smiley faces represent all the 'graduation' parties we get to have.

I've been wanting to put my vision board together and I have a nice Blue and Yellow poster board to use. I'm still trying to get inspired to just do it! All your comments will help me to get going! Thanks so much! Sharon p.s. I love Debbie's comment below . . . what we THINK about we BRING about!
