Thanks for the invite, nice way to take a break from all we do on the internet. I listen to music or reach out to chat with family and friends. Mostly I will sit and read a good book.

I pick up the phone if I'm all alone and no one to get me going! I call one of my kids or call my grand daughters as they always make me smile! Then I can get down to business once again knowing everything is alright with my world. Works every single time for me.

Hi Everyone! Great comments! And I agree with you all. There are times that we all feel a little down and it is important to refocus and SHIFT your thoughts! I find that praying with intention and spending some time talking to my Father brings me into a new place of Peace and Joy. Thinking of all you have to be thankful for is excellent as well! We all live like Kings and Queens if we think about it! Just having hot water for showers and a warm place to sleep are incredible blessings! When you sit down to a meal are you thankful as you eat each bite? We are So Very Blessed! Sharon

Hi Shelly, Thanks I look forward to meeting others in your group.....When I get in a funk I think of all the things I am grateful for and then realize we are Blessed in many ways.....I also like to make someone's day....it's sooo cool to see their smiles when I do! Sharon Dugger

Hi Shelly,
Thanks for the invite!

Shelly, when I'm in a funk, I'll read my Bible, a motivational/inspirational book or listen to praise music--this usually helps me.

I believe, God is always trying to teach me and challenge me through every slump and distraction I encounter in my day to day life. So, when slumps and distractions come, it's time to regroup and examine my thoughts, motives, desires and attitude because, these challenges are coming to make me great and built my character. It's all a matter on how I look at things--especially in business!

For me it is easy to get out of the Funk as you called it, because my team is a great support group. We all post exciting things that are happening in our lives and business. We have live training 6 days a week where we all get together and listen to the training, ask questions, visit with each other.

So when I get into the Funk I make a call, go to our message board, listen to a recorded training call, etc. These are always up lifting listening to hear all the excitement in everyones voice. This always gets me pumped up and back on track. It is so nice to have such a great group of people to work with.

Thanks for the invite. I try to stay positive but every now and than as you say it, I get into a funk. If I don't do anything about it that funk can go into a depression and than nothing looks right. So when I feel like I'm getting into a funk I put on some praise music, listen to inspirational teachers like john meyers, think and grow rich, doug firebaugh, joyce meyers, TD jakes. Any one of these people brings the passion back inside of me. Than I'm on fire ready to take on the world LOL. I try not to take things so serious any longer. Life can be so wonderful if at times you just laugh.

Shelley, this is a good idea! I'm usually pretty positive, but every so often...I waver. I find that meditating and concentrating on all my blessings helps put everything into perspective. I'm also a good one for giving myself a pep talk. I remind myself to live the Tao and trust in God to get me over the hump. It always works!

I'm looking forward to reading about what other people do to get themselves out of those bitter blue funks.

Hey Shelley, This is a good topic. When I get in a funk, I usually have to go out of the house and just talk with people. When I lift them up encourage them, that makes me feel a good.
Thanks
