The 5-4-3-2-1 Most Powerful Words in Network Marketing
Why these words are so powerful: Words are the most single powerful arsenal you have. Any type of phraseology will work, it’s all about building people, teams and volume. Can’t build volume without building people and teams. Volume is a direct result of building people and teams.
You Did A Great Job – 5 most powerful words – accolades are so empowering. You edify and empower those with accolades. The worst thing to be in an upline? Silent! Always appreciate what your team does. Loyalty is the glue in network marketing leadership. The more you appreciate, edify and empower your team, the more loyal they will be to you. The more loyal you are to them, the more loyal they will be to you. Use private praise as well as public praise – use both methods.
Let’s Do This Together – 4 most powerful words. Show you are part of what your team is doing; that you are part of the effort of building a team. Together, let us focus on achieving a ”this”(define the “this”) together.
I Believe in You – the second 4 most powerful words in network marketing. Most people never, ever hear those words (either in their personal or business life). Tomorrow, tell at least 5 people you believe in them!
You Did It – 3 most powerful words in network marketing. Words that validate the action taken. It’s a reflection phrase: a phrase that reflects what happens. Most people don’t get this accolade.
You Can – 2 most powerful words in network marketing. These words reflect your belief in what someone can do. Just knowing someone believes in you helps you believe in yourself. So many people hear only negative thoughts in the business world. Believing in someone empowers that person.
YOU – single most powerful word to use in network marketing is “you” or the person’s name. Use “you” or the person’s name 4 times as often as you use the words “I” or “me”. Use the words “we” or “us”. The less often you say “I” or “me”, the more effective your presentation will be. People don’t want to hear about you, they want to hear about them. The less often you use “I” and “me”, the more people will respond to you and what you have to offer. In the next 3 presentations you give, do not use the words “I” or “me”. Accolades belong to the team, not to the leader.
The least powerful word is ME.
The most powerful sentence in network marketing:
“You have everything you need to succeed massively in life--let me help you unleash that on the world.” Those are the words people are waiting to hear! They are just waiting for “permission” to succeed.
