Well, with our business team, we have a pretty advanced contact system that has autoresponders set up, tracks which type of prospect they are (biz opp, retail customer, sample request, etc) which makes life so much easier. The calendar system that is a part of it easily allows us to schedule meetings, emails, phone calls, etc. I couldn't live without it to be honest with you. It is central to our organization's method of management. Click and schedule.

What kind of system do you use?

Hi Scott,

I worked on the product advisory team for a great contact management system designed specifically for network marketing. It's called Oprius and you can learn more about it by clicking HERE. It's the most complete system I've seen and it's all web based, so you can use it anywhere you have access to the internet.

I think Oprius is a GREAT contact management software for networkers! Why does it not surprise me that you had a hand in that Rod? ;-)

Thanks

This is a great question and one I teeter on back and forth to find the right tools. I have a autoresonder set up, it's just a matter of getting the leads in there. Isn't that the truth! I also keep all my leads in a tabbed binder (monthly tabs) and keep notes on the leads. I also have ACT to help keep me organized and my calls on time, as long as I remember to put them in there (ha ha). It works for me!

What about a yahoo calendar or microsoft office calendar. I believe you can schedule your calls that way!

Dave,

Since you built a system I'd love to get your opinion on the one we recently released. let me know and I'll get you the demo log in.

I ended up developing an entire system which anyone in my company can use. While there are tools out there like ACT! and Goldmine, I find them cumbersome and time consuming to use.

If you're a techie, you can install your own copy of "Sugar" for free. It is web based and actually works surprisingly well.

Other than that, I'm not sure of any free contact management services out there.

Kathy-
Without an autoresponder, you are dead in the water, IMHO. I used Earnware for 6 years. I've used Response Magic for 3 years. Oprius which Rod mentioned, is not as feature rich as Earnware, but I switched to Oprius b/c it is just $15/mo., which is CHEAP in contact mgt land. It also allows me to create a system for my team for free, which would have cost me big dollars elsewhere. Also, it has an affiliate. Market just 6 systems and your's is free.
